Welcome to booksanctuary.co.uk, an e-publisher of new, exciting literature. 

Our belief is that literature, in all of its forms, is an important expression of our times that can enlighten and inspire. By utilising online publication via eBook format we aimed to give writers a platform to publish their work at no financial risk, with no restrictive exclusivity agreement and with significant royalties of their eBook sales.

As it's transpired, the team's commitments in other walks of life, both in academia and employment, have made it difficult to sustain this project and give it the attention it deserves. There already existing large scale alternatives to also consider, so it was not viable to continue this publication endeavour as a business. Nevertheless, we are proud that two of our writers have since progressed to print publication deals, and it means a great deal to us to have played a role, no matter how small, in making that happen.

We will keep the website live, and it'll now focus primarily as an occasional blog and, for anyone that wishes to use it, a social place through our forum. We won't be selling any more eBooks, however.

Our core principle is still to promote, encourage, and distribute innovative and creative new writing. We are passionate about literature and want to share that passion with you.
