Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Book Sanctuary

E-mail Print PDF

2011 has been a year of milestones for Book Sanctuary, with our first publications and eBook sales combined with our first year as sponsors of Linlithgow Book Festival. We have a long way to go, but have plans for the New Year to spread awareness about the site and the authors who’ve published with us. We also have more eBooks in the pipeline, so we’re excited about what 2012 can bring.

This year has also been a big year in the world of eBooks in general, with a continuing surge in popularity and significant Christmas sales of eBook capable devices such as the Amazon Kindle and the iPad. The publishing industry will continue to find its feet on new ground in the coming year, and we firmly believe in embracing eBooks while also supporting the continuing importance of print publishing.

The main message is simple though: Merry Christmas, happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year to all. 2011 has been incredibly turbulent both in the UK and all around the world, so here’s hoping that a period of festive celebration and the dawning of another year will help us all work towards a bright future.

All the best,

Book Sanctuary Team
